I'm a professional saxophonist, and I also teach in schools across Birmingham, either one to ones with older kids, or, as the trend at the moment is, whole class music lessons. They involve teaching everyone the clarinet or flute at the same time! It's not great and a result of budgets being cut. Many primary schools do not have a dedicated music teacher, which is sad, and schools buy in a music teacher for an hour or two a week.

I like to think I'm a good person. I'm a veggie as I don't like the idea of creatures being killed for me (but I'm not judgmental of meat eaters at all!) If someone looks lost, I'll try to help if I can, and I'm always holding doors open for people. I don't mind if people thank me or not, I'm not doing it for the praise.

I love cooking when I get home from work, and use it as an opportunity to relax and unwind, whilst listening to some music. I'm not a beans on toast veggie :) I can cook baked potatoes perfectly, and my favourite cookbook is by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall.

I have lots of books, due to me enjoying a browse round charity shops. I need a new bookcase (or a new room). I don't drive or own my own place at the moment, but I'm planning on using the money earned from a show contract I've got coming up to pass my test with an intensive course, and use the rest as a deposit for my own place.

I don't know many jokes :) But, I do have loads of funny stories about music and musicians, and I like wordplay and observational humour. My favourite comedians are George Carlin, Bill Hicks and Stewart Lee.

Games wise, I'm really enjoying the episodic Walking Dead games, and my best friend and I play Halo and Left for Dead 2 rather than chatting on the phone. I love stories in games, but RPGs are a little too time intensive for me at the moment. My first console ever was a mega drive with Aladdin packed in (I can complete it under 20 mins). The first console I bought with my own money was a PS1 so that's got a special place in my heart. My favourite arcade machine is The Simpsons by Konami, the first arcade I really got into. I will own this one day, but for now I've a little model of it!

I love films (I have a homemade 100 inch projector screen), anything with sci-fi, or eygpt in it I'm there. I was a huge fan of Stargate as a kid, as well as Batteries not Included, Space Camp and Flight of the Navigator. Nowadays, I'll watch anything, but I love Pixar, Studio Ghibli, foreign films, and anything with Gary Oldman or Daniel Day Lewis in.

I don't enjoy clubbing (hitting 18 killed the excitement for me). When I go out, it's either to pubs with friends on quiet nights, or around to friends houses where we can choose our own music. I love any kind of music, as long as it has an identity and is individual. Anything from african women slapping a river in different ways to create different pitches, to Jurassic park dubstep remixes on youtube.

I am opinionated, but open minded, very trustful but slightly shy and love culture stuff. I'll give anyone the time of day. I am a bit bored of being single now, the jazz world is a huge sausage fest, and everybodie's hooking up (including my best friend who was married last month).

I want someone to feel butterflies about, to text random things I notice to and to share experiences with and make memories.
